I’m Paul, an experienced SFX makeup artist in the USA and film makeup artist in Ohio, working across multiple avenues of the entertainment industry. Based in Escanaba, MI, I operate with established hubs in Toledo, Cleveland, and Detroit, and I am available for both national and international travel. As a dedicated U.P. makeup artist and department assistant, I provide technical precision and proactive support to every set I join.

My approach is detail-oriented and collaborative. I prioritize aligning with the department head's vision, ensuring continuity through clear communication and diligent tracking. I thrive in the fast-paced nature of production, acting as a reliable partner to Key Artists to keep the HMU department running smoothly and the talent looking flawless.

While currently transitioning from leadership and logistic roles in theater to supporting the industry’s best in film and TV, I bring a comprehensive understanding of set etiquette—from script breakdowns to maintaining a pristine workspace. While many techniques do transfer from stage to film production, I remain eager to learn new industry standards. My priority on set is to foster a safe, calm, and efficient environment where creative excellence can flourish. I am a licensed esthetician in the state of Ohio as of August 7, 2026.
